ABOUT OUR CHURCH
GSL started as a group of believers in prayer meetings and testimonial services in 1878. They worshiped in a rented apartment and grew to a church in an abandoned stable. Since then, our church out grew worship facilities on Wilson Street and St. Phillip Street in downtown Charleston. The thriving congregation moved to its current location, 78 Gordon Street, in 1978. GSL is a vibrant church and we look forward to you growing with us.
Camp GSL
Christian Education is a vital part of growing in faith. When it comes to shaping and developing children, it's priceless and critical. At GSL, we have formulated a comprehensive interactive program to advance your child academically but also in moral character and Biblical principle. The students of Camp GSL learn Science, Technology, Robotics, Engineering, Art, Music and Math with courses in Christian Education.
WORSHIP
We worship together and expect Great Things at our 10 am worship service with multiple dynamic choirs. Our Senior Pastor, Rev. Dr. Krystal Sears, delivers an impactful message for our worship experience.
